一、技术总结 1.system call(1) 定义
The primary interface between processes and the operating system, providing a means to invoke services made available by the operating system.
二、英语总结(生词：4) 1. legion(1) legion: *leg-(“to gather, collect”)
c. a large group of people or thing.
示例：The free-software movement is driving legions of programmers to create thousands of open-source projects, including operating systems(《Operating System Concepts》第 51 页)。

三、其它chapter 1(introduction)简评： 对操作系统做了一个整体的介绍，包括操作系统概念， I/O管理, 内存管理，操作系统组织结构，虚拟化技术，常见的开源操作系统等。整体来看，风格稍微有点啰嗦，但是能把概念的来龙去脉，定义讲得很清楚，这点我很喜欢。
